How the Updraft Fixed Bed Gasification Works

1. Feeding & Counter-Current Flow

The biomass gasification machine process begins with biomass storage and conveying. The material enters the top of the Updraft Fixed Bed Gasifier, while the air/agent enters from the bottom, creating a counter-current flow. This is the core principle of updraft gasification, allowing for high thermal efficiency as the hot gas dries the incoming biomass.

2. Conversion & Cleaning

Inside the fixed bed gasifier, thermochemical conversion happens in distinct zones. The raw gas then passes through a Cyclone Dust Collector and Air Cooler for preliminary cleaning.

3. Purification & Power Generation

Finally, our specialized ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) and Gas Dryers remove impurities. This comprehensive treatment makes the UFBG series one of the most reliable fixed bed gasifiers for delivering pure syngas to the Gas Generator Sets.
