We are specialized in biomass, coal and waste gasification to energy systems and have a company history of 30 years. Powermax have since the start of 1986 been specialized in biomass gasification power plants. Our gasification energy systems can convert various types of biomass, waste or coal into: electricity, process steam, drying, industrial heating, district heating and etc. Powermax has its own Development, Design, Construction and Project Management Departments. We have our own in-house gasifiers, gas purification systems and gas generator sets production facilities in China. All our gasification designs benefit from more than 100 reference installations worldwide.

Since the first self-designed biomass gasification system in 1990, Powermax has developed and owned more than 10 different gasification technology for different fuels and different applications during the past 27 years. Powermax has gasified more biomass than all other gasification technologies combined. We have systems that have been operating around the clock for over 20 years.Powermax gasification technologies can convert various types of biomass, waste or coal into: electricity, process steam, drying, industrial heating, district heating and etc. .Powermax Gasification Systems are available in a wide range of sizes to gasify from 0.5 to 2,000 tons per day.

What is Gasification?
Gasification is the use of heat to transform soild biomass or other carbonaceous solids into a synthetic 'natural gas like' flammable fuel. Through gasification, we can convert nearly any dry organic matter into a clean burning fuel that can replace fossil fuel in most use situations. It is a much cleaner process than combustion for converting carbonaceous materials to energy. In gasification, the fuel is first converted to a clean burning gas(syngas) at high temperatures. This gas can be used as a clean fuel or converted to chemicals such as ammonia for industrial or agricultural use.
